Enter the apartment via the porch, where you can hang your jackets and leave your walking boots, then find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Settle in here on the soft seating after your exhilarating excursions. A beautiful apartment, well equipped, spotlessly clean. easy walk into the town and good bus service. The owner is very nice person and accessible if needed. would definitely return and recommend.

Great cottage with modern furnishings. Very clean and great location for restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets all within a 5-10 minute walk. A big plus to have on-site parking. owner friendly and readily available for questions or if issues should arise.

Good location,centre is 10 min walk and easy to do. An information pack in property would of been good idea. Places around that could visit for better scenery. Found the centre of cockermouth to be a little lacking in things to do other than Wordsworth house and garden. Had some lovely meals at 2 local pubs, the castle bar and the bitter end in cenRead moretre,reasonable prices and big portions so we only had main courses Hide

Gives good access to all the amenities in the town centre (all in easy walking distance) without actually being in it. The owner has exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and care for this apartment. Highly recommended for 2 or 3 guests.

This is a fantastic apartment, spotlessly clean, comfortable, cosy and has everything you need. It's in a great location, only a short walk to the centre of Cockermouth and easy to drive to other areas. It's a bonus to have dedicated parking.

Brilliant find! Well equipped and in pristine condition. Comfortable bed and a very friendly, helpful landlord. Well situated to town centre and grocery store. Stunning river right there. Off street parking which is great as no other parking. Definitely recommend.

The cottage was lovely, very clean and well decorated. It seemed as though we were the first to ever stay in it although we were not. There was plenty of room and it was in an ideal location.

This place was amazing. Close to shops, nice walks and activities aren't far, I didn't travel over 30 minutes to go somewhere nice, mostly 15 minute travel. The owner is nice and welcoming, also really helped me when I had a car issue when he didn't have to help. Beds were really comfortable and a lot of room. A powerful shower. Comfortable and cosy cottage. Well equipped, although needs a mirror in the bedroom. Perhaps a bit stark, so would benefit with the addition of pictures on the walls, particularly in the sitting room.
